About the event
Perfectionism often shows up as high standards, self-criticism, and the constant feeling of never quite doing “enough.” While it can look like motivation on the surface, it often leaves us feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from ourselves.
Progress Over Perfection is the next workshop in the Workshopping Your Way to Wellbeing online series. This interactive and practical session will help you understand how perfectionist thoughts and behaviours develop — and offer gentle tools to help you respond with more flexibility, compassion, and balance.
In this workshop, we’ll explore:
What perfectionism really is (and how it shows up day to day)
Common perfectionist thinking patterns
How perfectionism can impact wellbeing and self-worth
Practical tools to help you prioritise progress over pressure
This session isn’t about lowering your standards or “trying harder” — it’s about creating space to grow in ways that feel sustainable and supportive.
