About the event
Some days ask more of us than we have to give. When emotions feel heavy, energy is low, or the world feels overwhelming, knowing how to soothe yourself can be an important act of care.
Tools for Tough Days is part of the Workshopping Your Way to Wellbeing online series and focuses on self-soothing rather than “fixing” how you feel. This interactive workshop explores gentle, practical ways to bring comfort, calm, and reassurance to yourself during difficult moments.
In this workshop, we’ll explore:
What self-soothing really means (and why it matters)
How to recognise when you need comfort rather than solutions
A range of hands-on self-soothing exercises you can try in real time
Creating a personal self-soothing toolkit tailored to your needs
This session is slow-paced, supportive, and designed to meet you where you are. You’re invited to take part in whatever way feels right for you — with no pressure to share or perform.
