We're so happy your here!
Here's why it all started...
Yours Truly is a project which has been sitting at the back of my mind for a while now, and I am so excited to finally bring it to life!
The world seems to be in a chaotic spiral, and there are some many factors in every day life which influence the decisions we make, our emotional responses and our overall attitude towards the world and ourselves. It can become so easy to become wrapped up on everything going on around you, that within all the craziness you start to loose yourself.

Here's my why...
I have been on a personal journey myself, to discover more about who I am, how my brain works, and most importantly what makes me happy.
This is been a relatively long journey, and its certainly not been linear, however even when I was at my lowest points, I wouldn't change these as they have made me the person I have become today.
Key aspects of my personal experience...
Being diagnosed with dyslexia and dyslexia
Treatment and recovery from an Eating disorder
Numerous courses of CBT for trauma and ED recovery
Failing my AS levels - and finally achieving going to university
Five knee ACL reconstruction surgeries by the age of 28
Moving to live alone in a different country where I didn't know anyone
Supporting friends and family through mental health episodes
What I have learnt...
One of the most ground breaking discoveries I made over the years was to stop putting pressure on myself. I spent so long trying to be perfect, I didn't think I was allowed to fail - this in turn resulted in me stopping trying altogether, and my life got stuck. I lost friends, lost my passion for anything, was scared of getting hurt or hurting others, and more often than not I just hid in my room.
These days its so hard to not to compare yourself to others, with the uprise of social media, seeing people travelling, getting married, living in lovely houses - more often than not we are seeing an end product, and the highlights. This is where the lines of reality get blurred, and the concept of transparency gets lost, leaving us feeling inadequate and behind.
But here's the thing...
Everyone at one point or another has felt lost, like they were stuck, didn't know what to do, and that their world was falling in around them. This is not to say that we don't all experience horrendously hard things during our lives, or invalidate this, but there are people out there who have also experienced something similar, and these are the people who can help share your experience and support you though it.
You are not alone, you don't have to pretend to be anyone else, you are perfect as your true, unique, authentic, you.
Yours Truly
